When we named the team TWENTY12 in 2009, we had a definite goal of taking athletes to the 2012 London Olympics. London resulted in 2 Olympic medals; gold and silver, the only U.S based road program to achieve this. We are now looking ahead to the Rio 2016 Olympics. Our team consists of 14 professional athletes including, numerous World, Pan Am and National champions and 5 Olympic Medalists; Kristin Armstrong 2008 & 2012 Gold Medalist who will continue as our High Performance Director and 2000 Olympic Silver Medalist and 2000 World Champion Mari Holden as Sports Director. Six-time World Champion and two-time 2012 Olympic silver medalist Sarah Hammer, two-time Pan American Champion and 2012 Olympic silver medalist Dotsie Bausch and 2008 World Champion and 2012 Olympic silver medalist Jennie Reed round out the solid gold roster. The team was the only U.S women's road team to earn medals in London Olympics. The team is now TWENTY20 with an eye on Rio.
TWENTY20 presented by SHO-AIR is the top recruitment platform for young athletes heading to college. Several Universities are now offering full scholarships to capable female cyclists. We have been able to successfully develop these junior athletes and connect them with colleges as they graduate from high school. The athletes race with our professional program while attending college and fulfilling collegiate race obligations. This allows for an easier transition to full-time professional racing after graduating. The priority for our program is always academics and to allow our athletes to obtain the best education possible.

Project Echelon Racing helps veterans regroup, recover, and re-engage through physical activity and self discovery.
The cycling team serves as the public face of Project Echelon, promoting our cause to cycling enthusiasts and fans as we train, race and interact with communities in SE Wisconsin, the Midwest, and across the country. Furthermore, the team has a direct connection to the veterans that Project Echelon supports through a variety of programs. We also use our platform to continue to grow our youth mentorship program, through which our “seasoned riders” mentor Under 23 riders in areas of goal setting, perseverance, professionalism, and networking, and teach our young riders the value and importance of giving back to the community, especially our veterans.
While performing at an elite level is our focus, our motivation is to use our talents to shine a positive light on the veteran community. The reality is that cycling is much more than a sport, it is a form of therapy. In 2015, an average of 22 veterans committed suicide every day. A majority of these veterans were victims of the inability to access long term, financially sustainable therapy for issues related to depression, PTSD, and traumatic brain injuries. As a result many turn to substance abuse and/or self harm.

“In 2009 I won the Junior Swedish Championship title. I then went on to win the Swedish Championship in 2010. That same year, I also participated in the European Championship, taking 2nd in Germany, and the World Championship, in which I placed 17th.After making the move to American in 2011 for my rookie year, I traveled the AMA Pro Nationals with MX Heaven for two years. Riding a CRF450 with a stock motor, I placed 26th overall in 2011. In both 2012 & 2013 I missed half of the season, but with increased knowledge and experience of the American tracks I still earned 31st and 27th overall in points. In 2014 I was picked up part way through the season by Honda’s race team and earned 10th overall in points. In addition to this, I raced this same year for Sweden’s Motocross of Nations Team. 2015 I raced again in America with the support of Honda as well as the new help of Motosport and GPI. Despite missing the last couple races of the season, I earned 10th overall in points again. I look forward to 2016 and continuing to move in this current direction of new accomplishments.”
