Portion of all GQ-6 Proceeds in October Donated to the Michael P. Nosco Foundation
(October 1, 2017 – San Clemente, CA) – GQ-6 Nutrition, Inc, will be supporting the 9th annual Mike Nosco Memorial Ride next month - November 3, 2017. In addition to providing hydration for the expected 700+ ride participants, GQ-6 will be donating a portion of all proceeds for the month of October to support the Michael P. Nosco Foundation
, an organization providing financial aid and help to individuals and families facing life-threatening illnesses.
The Mike Nosco Memorial Ride is a challenging, 80-mile ride that takes on some of Southern California’s toughest and most scenic climbs - Deer Creek, Mulholland and Latigo Canyon, and has brought people from around the world, amateurs and professionals alike. There are two shorter route options, and for those wanting an extra challenge, KOM Hammer awards are up for grabs for specific segments of the course. [More Info
GQ-6 will be providing hydration along the route to all ride participants, and Richard Hiraga, CEO and Founder, has also announced that 10% of all GQ-6 proceeds in the month of October will go to support the Michael P. Nosco Foundation, Inc
. “This is just such a great cause - we’re proud to do what we can to make a difference in our community,” he says.
Jack Nosco started the ride in 2009 in memory of his brother, Mike Nosco, who was killed in a devastating traffic accident. Jack describes, “Mike was a friend, an uncle, a soldier, a son and a great brother.” An Eagle Scout, Mike began giving back to his community at a young age. To honor his legacy, Jack also started the Michael P. Nosco Foundation, Inc., in an effort to provide financial relief and support to families and individuals facing life-threatening illness. The ride is the main fundraising event for the Foundation each year. Click here to learn about this year’s recipients and share your support
On the ride, Jack notes, “The climbs are challenging - but they pale in comparison to what our recipients endure each day. Every year, I’m blown away by the outpouring of support from the community. It helps keep the memory of my brother alive - and I know that he would be so proud of what this ride has become and how many people we’ve been able to help.”Learn more about the Mike Nosco Memorial Ride
