Nutrition company extends sponsorship at the VELO Sports Center throughout competition.

GQ-6 Nutrition, Inc, will be an official sponsor of the 2017 UCI Masters Track Cycling World Championships, coming to the VELO Sports Center in Carson, CA, from October 8-15. This 22nd edition of Masters Worlds, the first to be held in the United States, is slated to be the largest in the event’s history, drawing an international field of nearly 600 athletes.

“Having the Masters World Championships here in Southern California for the first time is really exciting,” said Bob Francis, GQ-6 Board Member and Managing Director of the Foundation for American Track Cycling. “We are proud to continue our support of American track cycling on the world stage, and share GQ-6’s commitment to optimal performance with athletes from around the world.”

As a partner of the Los Angeles Velodrome Racing Association (LAVRA) and VELO Sports Center (VSC), GQ-6’s current banner at the VSC will remain on display throughout the Masters World Championships.

The VELO Sports Center is offering free admission for fans coming to watch the 2017 UCI Masters Track Cycling World Championships, and for fans not in Southern California, live streaming of the Championship can be found here on the Masters Worlds’ website.
