(April 27, 2017 – San Clemente, CA) – GQ-6 today announces its incorporation and new official company name, GQ-6 Nutrition, Inc. The company was previously called Unique Nutritional Supplements, LLC. All products and brands under the former LLC will now be part of GQ-6 Nutrition, Inc. The shift opens doors for GQ-6 as it launches into new markets and expands current product offerings.

“As we move into our third year in business, we feel very confident in our brand,” said Richard Hiraga, President and Founder of GQ-6. “Our growth, combined with endorsements from top athletes in multiple sports and leading coaching organizations like Carmichael Training Systems (CTS), show that we’re on the right track to providing one of the best nutritional and hydration products on the market.”

GQ-6 also named Bob Francis, an early investor in the company, to its Board of Directors. Francis has been involved in competitive cycling as an athlete, coach and race promotor since 1985 and is the Managing Director of the Foundation for American Track Cycling, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization supporting track cycling athletes, development programs and velodromes.

With a Bachelors degree from California Polytechnic State University and an MBA from LeTourneau University in Texas, Francis has served in executive positions leading marketing and corporate communications for global technology and e-commerce companies.

“With over thirty years of experience in endurance sports and business, Bob is a valuable asset to our team,” said Hiraga. “An accomplished athlete himself, Bob is passionate about helping grow and develop the sport of cycling and knows firsthand the value of having the best nutritional and hydration products. We’re proud to have him on board.”

In 2016, GQ-6 announced that it would no longer be selling to the supplement retailer GNC. GQ-6 is now available online and at a growing number of local retailers who share GQ-6's commitment to providing athletes with quality products that are free of any banned substances. Each GQ-6 product is batch tested and certified at Aegis Testing Laboratories, so athletes can be confident in their results and performance.

With a focus on clean and effective ingredients in crisp, subtle flavors, all GQ-6 products are also 100% natural, gluten-free, with no artificial flavors, colors or sugars.
